If Kisses Were Snowflakes I'd Send You A Blizzard

4/5/15

Once upon a time a boy had a crush on me. He used dumb pickup lines and told me I was beautiful and asked me if I needed some "wake up kisses" when I told him that I was tired. He asked me out three times and I turned him down exactly three times. One day something just...changed though. I started appreciating his attention and I craved it. I wanted to see him all the time and his smile was all that I could think of, but evidently my life is a baseball game and three strikes you're out or something. The same day that I was gonna make the first (or fourth...depending on your perspective) move and ask him out he's canoodling in the hall with the school slut. Swag. Love is for bitches. Moral of the story? When he asks you out for the third time just say yes.

twas the night before prom

4/5/15

Tonight is the night before my junior prom. I got my nails done and my eyebrows done and my dress is hanging in my closet and I've been wearing my shoes all day to break them in and my date is...non-existent. I went through a noticeably long ugly phase but I thought that when I moved over a thousand miles away from everyone that I've ever known this summer that the new boys would accidentally think that I was hot. What the hell is wrong with me? I lost weight, straighten my hair everyday, and learned how to put on eyeliner and still going stag to prom? And as if it's not bad enough my brother that's two years younger than me has a date.

Begin Again

Life isn't easy for anyone, right? Sometimes I think that some people have more hurdles to jump than others and other times I think that maybe everyone is running in the same race, and we all jump the same amount of hurdles, and some of us just complain about it more.

I am starting this blog because this year has felt particularly difficult for me and I want somewhere to talk about it and I'm not much of a people person but I'm a fairly decent writer.

Here are some fun facts about me: I'm seventeen and my name isn't Jenny Jones.
